Theme Installation

1. In your admin panel, go to Appearance > Themes and click the Add New button.
2. Click Upload and Choose File, then select the theme’s .zip file. Click Install Now.
3. Click Activate to use your new theme right away.

Recommended Plugins

The functionality of this theme can be extended by installing the following 2 (free) plugins:
1. Meta Box
2. Taxonomy Images
Additionally, the theme works really well with these Recipe plugins: EasyRecipe, WP Recipe Maker, Yummly Rich Recipes.

Meta Box Plugin

After installing and activating this plugin, on the Edit Post pages you will notice 4 new custom meta fields under the post content.
These fields are built into the theme: Preparation Time, Cooking Time, Difficulty, Price.
These fields are optional, nothing will happen if you don’t fill them for one (or all) posts.

Taxonomy Images Plugin

After installing and activating this plugin, go to Settings > Taxonomy Images and check the checkbox for Tags and click Save Changes.
After that, go to Posts > Tags and you will be able to set featured images to each of your tags.

How to setup the front page like the demo site?

When you first activate Rosemary, your homepage will display posts in a traditional blog format.
If you’d like to add the additional featured sections from the demo, you can do that by going to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options.

Footer Area

The footer area contains 4 widgetized columns.

Quick Specs (all measurements in pixels)

1. The main column width is 850.
2. In full-width layout the content width is 1200.
3. A widget in the sidebar is 300.
4. Featured Images for posts should be at least 850 wide.
5. The footer widget columns:
– Column 1 is 550px wide.
– Columns 2-4 are 180px wide.
