Inspiro Lite is a free WordPress theme developed by WPZOOM and is available for download on wordpress.org. It is marketed as a theme for photographers and video creators, with tools for displaying a portfolio, images and videos.

Install Inspiro Lite Theme
Let’s start by installing INSPIRO LITE on a fresh WordPress website without any content. Go to your dashboard, open the themes page and search for INSPIRO. Click install now and then activate it.
Inspiro recommends 5 plugins, including Beaver Builder, a popular drag and drop page builder plugin. I’ll come back to this step later in the video.
This is what an empty website looks like when Inspiro Lite is activated. The free version of Inspiro does not include a demo content importer, but I have a tip for you.
Find the “Theme Demo Content” page on the WPZOOM website. Select Inspiro from the list.
Now go back to your Dashboard, go to Tools > Import and run the WordPress importer.
Select the downloaded file and go through the Import process.
Of course this is not a complete replica of the demo, but it’s good enough as a starting point.
Inspiro Lite Theme Settings
Now that we have some content, let’s go through the theme’s options and settings.
Open the Customize page.
In the Site Identity panel, you can upload your logo.
In the Homepage Media panel, you can change the images and the text that appears in the hero header. If you upload multiple images, you can randomize them on every page load.
You can change the header title and description. If you don’t want the title to link to the homepage, you can change it here. Additionally you could set the label for a call to action button with the same URL.
In the Colors panel, you can select from a Light or Dark color scheme.
In Theme Layout, you can enable or disable a sidebar on the homepage and in single posts.
In Blog Post Options, you can select if you want archive pages to display page excerpts, the full content or no content at all.
In the Footer panel, you can choose the amount of widgetized columns.
In the Widgets panel, you will notice that Inspiro has a Sidebar and a Blog Sidebar.
The Sidebar is displayed when the user clicks on this icon in the header.
When enabled, the Blog Sidebar appears to the right.
Inspiro Lite Homepage with Beaver Builder
It is important to note that the homepage for the theme’s demo was built using the Beaver Builder plugin and the WPZOOM companion plugins, all of them are free.
Let’s install these 3 plugins now.
First, you have to create a new page or edit an existing one. Select the Homepage (Page Builder) template for this page. Then go to Settings > Reading and select your page as the Homepage.
Now you can start building your page using the Beaver Builder.
You can build it section by section with the help of modules, or you can use one of the built-in templates.
Beaver Builder comes with some free templates or you can use the ones included in Inspiro Lite. With the help of these templates you can quickly replicate some demo pages.
After adding a template, you can edit or remove each section of the page.
While Inspiro Lite is a completely free theme, you can upgrade to Inspiro Premium, which has many more features and comes with more extensive support. I will make a separate video comparing both versions of the theme.
